Tatsumasa was an art professor and intaglio printmaker who included flowers and (or) birds in more than twenty of his prints. Twenty-six examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Tatsumasa drew his flower and bird subjects in a modern, semi-abstract or abstract way and typically colored them only in shades of gray so their identity is not always clear.
